Happy Easter!
We had a nice, relaxing holiday with the kids and spent some time with Vic's family- best way to spend the holidays. Grandma bought Mady the prettiest Easter dress!!
Isn't my baby beautiful?!
Big brother Aiden wasn't really in the picture taking mood, so unfortunately we didn't get any Easter pics of him.

Easter kisses for Grandpa!
Mady and her Great Aunt!
We took the kids to Butler's Orchard's Bunnyland for a belated Easter Egg hunt. Aiden, for some reason, is infatuated with eggs (I think because of the Surprise Eggs Auntie Ellen gives him... those are filled with fun treats!), so we knew that this outing would be a big hit. We picked the perfect day to go, the weather was gorgeous and, because it was after Easter, it wasn't very crowded. We were relieved that we could take our time with all the activities.
Aiden loved the Egg Hunt! There were tons and tons of eggs everywhere, I think he could have stayed there all day.
Aiden was so cute. He kept pointing to different parts of egg hunt, making sure that we knew that there were "so many eggs" here and there. His excitement was infectious!
What a good big brother! He helped Mady fill her Easter basket too!
Aiden loved dumping all his egglicious finds into this wooden barrel.
Aiden was only one of a few kids at the egg hunt at that time, so Vic and I just let him go at it. Such happiness!
Daddy and his baby girl!
Bunnyland had so many activities for the kids. Another one of Aiden's favorites was the Rubber Duck Derby. It was a water pump that pushed rubber ducks down a race track. Aiden loved watching the ducks make their way to the finish!
On a side note, Mommy was not good at this. It was tough!
Aiden moving his duck back to the start line!
Daddy was much better at this task.
My curious little Bug not only liked watching the ducks move down the track, but he was also very interested in how it worked. He spent a good 5-10 minutes examining the pump, how it moved and how the water moved through it. Hmm, future engineer?
Next up, the goats!
Initially, Aiden wasn't all that excited about seeing the goats. He was much more interested in the eggs and ducks, but once we got him up there and showed him how to feed them, he loved it!
I was happy that after I showed Aiden how, he was pretty content feeding them himself. Aiden tends to be the more timid and reserved one and often shys away from new things, but those goats were pretty friendly (and hungry) so he had a good time.
Bunnyland also had a separate area where you could pet ducks and rabbits. Here's Daddy encouraging Aiden to say hello to a little bunny.
Mady preferred the ducks. I had to remind her to be gentle, since she kept swatting at the poor duck's beak. Good effort though, Sweetie!
Bunnyland was a fun time!! We're happy we live so close to Butler's Orchard now, they have so many fun activities year round. Next up is strawberry picking!!!
Happy Easter!! xo!
